How are your holidays going? What have you been doing? I would love to hear from you about your holidays especially if you did something that you have never done before.
Over the Easter weekend I went to Warrnambool. Warrnambool is in the south-west of Victoria. It is at the end of The Great Ocean Road which is a great drive along the coastline of Victoria. You might remember that Delsie Lillyst told us that her family came from Warrnambool. She said it was Gundjitmara Land.
To get to Warrnambool we drove to Geelong, Torquay, Anglesea, Fairhaven, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell and finally, Warrnambool. It took us all day to get there but it was a beautiful drive.
When we were in Warrnambool we visited Flagstaff Hill, a historical village that shows what life was like for people who travelled to Australia by boat a long time ago. The journey took more than 3 months and it was very dangerous. We went to see a great show called Shipwrecked! It was all about a ship called the Loch Ard which came to Australia in 1878. Have a look at the video below to see a little bit of the show.
