Term 4 Inquiry

In Term 4 we are going on a road trip. We are going to travel to all the states and territories of Australia and find out what is so unique about the country we live in.  All without leaving St Joseph’s Primary School.

We will be finding out about:

  • the beauty of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania

  • the fragility of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland

  • the remote Kimberleys in Western Australia

  • the creation of the national capital, Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory

  • the Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory

  • the majesty of Sydney Harbour in New South Wales

  • the winding Great Ocean Road in Victoria

  • the home of opals, South Australia

Have you been to any of these places? What is your favourite spot in Australia? Post your comments about our road trip. Which part of Australia do you want to know about?

Peta Pan

Last week our school put on a great production of Peta Pan. Two members of our class were in the show. They did a great job as a pirate and a Lost Boy. Well done to all the cast. It was a great fun show. Looking forward to the next one.

Success at the District Athletics

Yay for 3/4F at the District Athletics. Our A grade Baton Relay team came second and were very close to 1st place. They now go on to the Division Athletics and they have high hopes of more success.  We also had a third place in the 800 metres race. Congratulations to the other 4 athletes from 3/4F who ran on the day and supported their team. Great team effort 🙂
